I maintain a bi-weekly music column, “The Cutout Bin,” at Blogcritics.org, as well as write music and book reviews, cultural essays, and technology pieces. In addition, I write a weekly column, “DeepSoul,” for the music blog Blinded by Sound.  Since 1996 I have been a contributing editor for Beatlefan, the leading publication for Beatles collectors. My work has also appeared in such publications as Showcase Chicago and Goldmine. In addition, I have published a scholarly book and dissertation, Toward a Tri-Level Model for Online Writing Laboratory (OWL) Research and Design.
